Every day I find something new about Windows 7 to like. Gadgets is my latest. Mac OS X had Widgets a few years ago. They were cool. Gadgets are essentially the same thing.
I discovered them and added a clock, the weather and feeds. After a few seconds I recognized some of the story titles – they were from NJN Network. Cool.
NJN Network has a reasonably good Google profile so it was picking up some of our stories on Live Feed. This I will keep.
It helps to have a wide screen. I found on the Powerbook, Widgets cluttered things up. I think this one is 21 inches so there’s room on the side for some Gadgets.
Caveat Windows 7 RC does not uninstall
There are hundreds of choices and they are mostly free. Another cool thing that makes me like Windows 7.
